Resources to help prepare learners with SEND for their visit to the wetland centre. Please feel free to edit as required.
Please note: For most children we recommend that the contents of the visit are kept secret to keep the element of surprise of the day. However, we realise that some children may be more comfortable if they know what will happen on the day, so please use your professional judgment when deciding whether to use this resource. Unless they need to know the specifics of the day you might want to use the relevant visual guide below. This will give a feel for what the children will see and do without giving away any of the day’s ‘secrets’.
