Abi and Tiggy - Teachers"Thank you so much for welcoming us to Slimbridge before the Easter Holidays. Our children had a brilliant time and they have also really enjoyed tracking some of Ava's progress. We also really appreciated your teams support and knowledge when we were there, it meant it went really smoothly - Thank you.
Bringing it back into the classroom after the trip has been really nice and they have enjoyed talking about some of the stops that we've looked at so far. We have done some of the badges in our classes and there's some that we're hoping to do now it's a bit sunnier. I know there's been a bit of a mix of take up in terms of children accessing it at home, lots of our families only have phones so there's limited opportunities. But with this in mind we've been discussing it in class.
We have linked our scientists learning to Ava and thought about planting seeds so she could grow food to eat. The children received a letter from Ava asking for her help and they did an experiment and have written back. They have now taken seeds home to plant."
