St Peter's Generation Wild project

I just wanted to say how much St Peter's have enjoyed taking part in the generation wild project this year. Our trip to Slimbridge was brilliant and a well organised trip. Many members of staff commented on how wonderful the day was and how much the children got out of it.

We continued the learning once back at school writing stories about Ava's adventures around the world. We had several children complete nature activities at home and share their experiences with their peers and we enjoyed taking part in nature activities in school.

Some of our favourite activities were walking bare feet outside, cloud spotting, rescuing an insect, making a bird feeder using Lego, making a den just to name a few. At the end of the year many children said their favourite memories of year 1 was the trip to Slimbridge and the nature activities they took part in outside.
